Miami Central tops MaxPreps composite football ranking

With High School football right around the corner, MaxPreps released a new feature, the MaxPreps Top 25 Football Composite Rankings. In order to be included in the Composite, the media outlet must have produced rankings for more than five years, and not be computerized. Rankings making the composite cut along with MaxPreps are PrepNation, USA Today and Rivals.

The High School must be in at least two national polls. If it did not land in all four, the team was given a rank of 40 for rankings they were excluded from.

Miami Central with an average rank of 2.75 tops the list with Booker T. Washington (Miami), Allen (Texas), Norcross (Ga.), Concord De La Salle and Curtis (River Ridge, La.) rounding out the top five. 247Sports’ home state is represented by Nashville Ensworth at No. 20.
