Scout.com releases 2015 Scout 100

Scout.com became the third network (247Sports and ESPN) to release a football recruit list for the Class of 2015 with its Scout 100. The announcement mentions that a complete Scout 300 will be released on Wednesday noon EST.

The SEC had the two highest ranked commitments with LSU commitment cornerback Kevin Toliver, at No. 5, and Alabama commitment quarterback Ricky Town at No. 8. Both were also the top players listed at their respective positions. Michigan has the third highest commitment with top-rated wide receiver George Campbell at No. 13.

247Sports‘ No. 1 player, defensive end Canton Kaumatule was ranked at No. 20 and given a five-star rating by Scout. ESPN’s  No. 1 player, Jashon Cornell came in at No. 47 and four stars on the Scout ranking.

Offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt was the first player to be given an identical ranking by all three service at No. 4, and the top offensive lineman in each ranking.

No. 10, outside linebacker Ricky Town, had the largest differential between the three services of the recruits in the top 10. 247Sports ranks him No. 56, and ESPN has him at No. 139.
