Top 247Sports Crystal Ball leaders for December 2013

Football is once again dominating the 247Sports Crystal Ball. All 10 of the top recruits are from football, as well as, the top 10 experts. There should be no surprise that kids with interest from schools with a strong following on 247Sports did well, as well as, recruits preparing for All-American game declarations.

Note: I had to change the Top 10 Experts to the Top 10 Predictors because two of the top four predictors were “non-experts” in December.

 Top 10 Recruits

  1. Raekwon McMillan: The nation’s No. 1 inside linebacker committed to Ohio State on 12/16
  2. Johnnie Dixon: The No. 8 wide receiver in the Class of 2014 committed to Ohio State on 12/17
  3. Dalvin Cook: The No. 12 recruit in the nation committed to FSU on 12/31.
  4. Joe Mixon: The No. 1 all-purpose back in the nation had people guessing all month long which school he would choose at the Army All-American game.
  5. Jamal Adams: The five-star safety kept a lot of LSU fans busy in December in preparation for his announcement at the Army game.
  6. Laurence Jones: The No. 4 safety in the nation, “Hootie” kept the Tide Nation on its toes with a decommit on December 18th. He has since recommitted to Alabama.
  7. Malik McDowell: The No. 1 player in the state of Michigan had a solid December, but his January should generate more news.
  8. Jalen Tabor: The No. 1 recruit in D.C. had a busy month. Things looked good for Maryland, then visits to Arizona, Alabama and Florida made Tabor’s Crystal Ball blow up.
  9. Matt Elam: The No. 2 player in Kentucky has Alabama and Kentucky fans checking back daily to find out the latest.
  10. Leonard Fournette: The nation’s No. 1 recruit is down to LSU and Alabama.

Just Missed: Tony Brown, Lorenzo Carter, Thomas Holley
